Our social work service provides emotional support, advocacy and information for survivors of sexual abuse and their whānau.

Counselling - Mahi Tohuora

Our counsellors provide specialist therapeutic services to children, adolescents and adults who have experienced sexul abuse and their whānau.

Court Support Services

ARCS Manawatū has produced the My Court Guide as a resource to help survivors prepare for the trial and to support them as they attend. The resource covers topics like:

Voyage Programme - Hōtaka

He Taonga Tamariki

The VOYAGE (Valuing Ourselves Youth Activities Group Education) programme is a nine week, after school programme for children (aged 5 – 11 years) who have experienced any form of abuse. The aim of the programme is to break the cycle and secrecy of abuse by providing children with positive experiences on which to build their self esteem.

Community Education - Akoranga Hapori

ARCS delivers and supports a variety of education initiatives in the community on sexual violence prevention, issues and supporting survivors. We are availble to provide workshops and seminars.

We work across all gender, sexuality, ethnicity and cultural identities to offer a range of support services, whether the abuse occurred recently or some time ago. The abuse does not need to have been reported to access our services.
